Day 1 – Into the Heart of the Middle Atlas

Your adventure begins after breakfast as you leave Fes and climb toward the Middle Atlas. The alpine town of Ifrane welcomes you with its cool air and European-style architecture. Continue to Azrou, home to cedar forests and artisan workshops, before crossing the scenic Zad Pass. Lunch awaits in Midelt, followed by a drive through Errachidia and the lush Ziz Valley. By sunset, arrive in Merzouga, gateway to the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi. Dinner and overnight in a desert hotel.
Day 2 – Desert Magic & Nomadic Encounters
(Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Khamlia – Mifiss – Tissardmine)
After breakfast, begin a full desert tour around the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Visit the oases of Merzouga, meet Berber nomad families, and stop in Khamlia, a village famous for its hypnotic Gnaoua music. Explore the old Mifiss mines and the peaceful Tissardmine oasis. In the afternoon, prepare for your camel caravan into the dunes—an unforgettable ride leading to a sunset viewpoint. Spend the night in a Berber tent under the stars.
Day 3 – From Fossils to Dramatic Canyons
(Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Touroug – Tinjdad – Tinghir – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley)
Rise early to witness sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, drive through Rissani and continue to Erfoud, where you can visit a fossil workshop. The journey continues through the enchanting palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad before reaching the towering Todra Gorges. After lunch, head toward the stunning Dades Valley with its impressive canyon curves. Dinner and overnight inside the Dades Gorges.
Day 4 – Among Roses, Kasbahs & Palm Groves
(Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Kelaa M’Gouna – Skoura – Ouarzazate)
After breakfast, explore the winding landscapes of the Dades Valley. Continue through the romantic Rose Valley to reach Kelaa M’Gouna, known for its rosewater cooperatives. Drive through the palm-filled oasis of Skoura, home to the elegant Kasbah Amredhyle. Arrive in Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco,” for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 – Cinematic Landscapes & Mountain Passes
(Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi-n-Tichka – Marrakech)
After breakfast, explore Ouarzazate, including Kasbah Taourirt and the famous Atlas Studios. Continue to the legendary ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the afternoon, cross the dramatic Tizi-n-Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains before descending toward the lively city of Marrakech.
